Jones County Sheriff’s Department looking for fugitive

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

The Jones County Sheriff's Department along with the Jackson County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help locating a fugitive wanted on several criminal charges.

Bobby Don Wells is wanted in connection with the burglary and larceny of a wrecker shop in Pascagoula. According to Jones County Investigator Thad Windham, Wells stole a wrecker, a Chevrolet pickup truck, a zero-turn lawnmower and numerous car parts from the business.

"They brought the two stolen vehicles up here, the wrecker we have recovered," said investigator Thad Windham.  "The Chevrolet pickup they had already began dismantling it; we recovered it along with most of the parts. We also can put Wells at a local scrap yard selling various car parts that we know came out of that shop down there."

If you have any information on Wells, you are asked to contact the Jones County Sheriff's Department.
