(CNN) - Pope Francis headed home on Monday after a five-day trip to South Korea.

But he didn't use the plane ride as a chance to take it easy.

Instead, he held a news conference to discuss a variety of issues.

He spoke about his future travel plans, saying he hopes to go to Philadelphia in 2015.

He said he also wants to visit New York and Washington.

The pope also answered a question about the United States' airstrikes in Iraq.

A reporter asked the pontiff if he approved of the airstrikes.

He would not weigh in on the military campaign, but did say he believes "one nation alone" shouldn't decide how to stop "unjust aggressors" such as ISIS.

Instead, he says the United Nations should make that call.

He did say, “I can only say this: It is licit to stop the unjust aggressor," the pope said aboard the plane.
