Pike Road woman charged with armed robbery of 3 men

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

A Pike Road woman is in the Montgomery County Jail after officials say she robbed three men on separate occasions, each at gunpoint.

Court records show Shermirror Keonia Jones, 29, is connected to armed robberies on July 5th as well as on August 8th and 10th.

The first robbery happened around 10 p.m. on Coliseum Boulevard. The victim lost around $200.

A month later, Jones is said to have robbed a second man, this time around 2:30 a.m. near Withers and Chambers streets. That victim lost a little more than $300 and his EBT card was taken.

The third robbery happened just two days later. Around 4:30 a.m. a man was robbed at gunpoint near French and North Decatur streets. Court documents do not list the amount of money stolen from him.

Jones is being held at the Montgomery County Jail on three counts of robbery. Her bond is set at a total of $180,000.

    Fans were waiting in the parking lot Wednesday outside Hattiesburg High School for tickets to go on sale for the 5A South State Championship Friday night. The Tigers are hosting the Laurel Tornadoes in a I-59 showdown.  The game, a repeat of the "Lil' Brown Jug" game will give the Tornadoes the chance at revenge, after Hattiesburg won the rivalry game 20-14 in August.
