TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

A woman had to be rescued after she was trapped in her vehicle in about two feet of fast moving water, according to a Pima County Sheriff Deputy.

The deputy tells Tucson News Now there were no signs on the road indicating it was closed.

This happened on Sandario Road about five miles north of Ajo Highway. The rescue wrapped up just before 10 p.m.

The woman was the only person that had to be rescued. She is expected to be okay.
