COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Red shirt sophomore Brendan Nosovitch said Sunday he will stay in Columbia.

"Yeah, I'm sticking around," Nosovitch said at Fan Appreciation Day. "I'm staying."

Last year, the third-string quarterback saw his first action in a win at Arkansas.

"I factored in a lot of different things," Nosovitch said about the decision. "I met with coach Spurrier and talked to my coaches."

He scored the game's final touchdown on a seven-yard run and completed both of his passes against Coastal Carolina.
