KINGSPORT, TN (WJHL) - Kingsport Police are looking for a duo who investigators said didn't really orchestrate a plan of attack.

Surveillance video shows their haphazard approach to breaking into to the Minute Market on East Center Street.

Police said two men tried to throw a concrete block through the front doors of the business around 4 a.m. on July 31st.

They did manage to shatter the glass, but they did not get in the business.   Police said a security alarm scared them away.

"It's like a lot of crimes," said Tom Patton, Kingsport Police.  "Some of them are more well thought out than others, and obviously this one was thrown together at the last minute."

If you recognize either of the suspects in this surveillance video, call Kingsport Police at 423-246-9111.
