Hattiesburg homicide suspect pleads guilty

A Marion County woman connected with a 2013 Hattiesburg homicide pled guilty in Forrest County Circuit Court Wednesday. Antonica Magee pled to accessory after the fact to capital murder, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in the death of Wesley Owens, 19, at Breckenridge Apartments off Classic Drive.

Circuit Judge Bob Helfrich sentenced Magee to 25 years, with 15 to serve, and 5 post release.

Previous suspects include, Trey Oliver who was sentenced to 40 years in prison with 30 to serve after pleading guilty to second degree murder.  A second suspect, 18 year-old Eddreon Brister of Tylertown also pleaded guilty to second degree murder.  Still awaiting trial is 21 year-old Anthony Mitchell of Columbia.
