Man involved in Laurel Walmart shooting pleads guilty

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

A Waynesboro man involved in a shooting and robbery outside of Laurel's Walmart will remain behind bars.

According to Jones County District Attorney Tony Buckley, Sederic Miles, 27, pled guilty to conspiracy and accessory after the fact. He was sentenced to 10 years, 4 to serve, 6 suspended.

Miles along with Sean Land were arrested by officers last May after police said a Hispanic victim was found lying on the ground suffering from two gunshot wounds.
