Preliminaries of Miss Hospitality Pageant held in Hattiesburg

The preliminaries of the 2014 Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant were held in Hattiesburg Friday night. The preliminaries of the 2014 Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant were held in Hattiesburg Friday night.
HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Contestants representing Laurel and Wayne County won awards during the preliminaries Friday night of the 65th annual Mississippi Miss Hospitality Pageant in Hattiesburg. 

Caroline Little, representing Laurel, was one of three winners of a speech competition held Friday morning. She was awarded a $250 scholarship for a 90-second presentation. 

Contestants representing Meridian and Neshoba County also got scholarships in that competition. 

Kelsey Proctor of Wayne County was also recognized as the Top Ad Sales winner.  She received a $250 gift certificate. 

Contestants also participated in the Little Black Dress/Commercial Competition and an Evening Gown Competition. 

The pageant finals will take place Saturday night at the Saenger Theater in Hattiesburg, beginning at 8 p.m.

    The new Miss Hospitality has been crowned in Hattiesburg.  She is Emma Grace McGrew, 18, of Booneville.
