Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore was born and raised in Hattiesburg Mississippi. He joined the WDAM news team in February 2014 after being a photojournalist for nine years.

Before joining WDAM he worked at a local newspaper photographing the Pine Belt.

Throughout his career, Ryan has been recognized with more than 30 Associated Press Awards for his photography, including two-time Mississippi Photo of the Year recipient.

Ryan got his bachelor's degree from the University of Mississippi in journalism.

When Ryan is not covering crime in the Hub City, he is usually on a lake, or trying his hand at fishing.

    University of Southern Mississippi graduates Justin Dyer, Kelly Hill and Lorenzo Spencer have been awarded the Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholarship valued at $30,000 per year for their medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson.
