Highway 11 North in Moselle remains closed

MOSELLE, MS (WDAM) -

Highway 11 North in Moselle north of Ben Thompson Road remains closed this week.

Work began in early summer on a bridge replacement to bring it to current state standards. While the construction has been going on, traffic has been detoured around the area. The road was originally scheduled to reopen this week, but design changes in the plan for the bridge have pushed back the timetable to the first week in August weather permitting.

Once the roadway is reopened work will continue in the area until the project is complete.
