Toyota of Hattiesburg hosts back-to-school drive

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Toyota of Hattiesburg back-to-school drive is back in full swing this year accepting monetary, school supplies and uniform donations.

Financially strapped families from the Hattiesburg area will receive assistance of academic school supplies from local citizens and the Toyota company employees.

"We try to help out our local families first, and if we have a great success or a huge turnout, we're going to branch out to different areas" said Toyota Sales Rep, Jessica Skeen.

Dollar General of Hattiesburg is a one-stop-shop for affordable school supplies. A pack of pens, one subject notebook, and one folder are just under $3.

Nat maps, book bags, binders and pencils are just a few of the items Toyota of Hattiesburg is willing to collect for local students. "If we have a great success or a huge turnout, we're going to branch out to different areas." said Skeen.

The back-to-school drive is scheduled to run until August 3.
