Suspect sought in vehicle burglary and theft in Vinton

VINTON, LA (KPLC) - Authorities are searching for the suspect in a vehicle burglary that took place on June 28 at a home in Vinton.

Deputies with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the incident on Foster Brothers Road and spoke with the victim, who advised that two credit cards were stolen from inside her vehicle, which had been parked at her home.

Investigators have released video surveillance footage of a male suspect using the victim's credit cards to make unauthorized purchases at several locations in Vinton and Sulphur.

The CPSO is asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call the CPSO at 491-3605.
