Weekend shootings in Hattiesburg injures two

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Two non-lethal shootings in Hattiesburg Sunday injured two men.

The first shooting took place around 2 a.m. on Mobile St. in the area of the old Hattiesburg Coca-Cola Bottling Company building. In the shooting a male victim was shot in the foot.  The second shooting took place Sunday night at around 10 p.m. on Arledge St. at the intersection of Eufala Ave. Witnesses say they heard gunfire and bullets hitting the ground coming from a passing vehicle. One male victim was struck with a bullet in the groin.

Injuries to victims were non-life threatening. Both incidents continue to be under investigation.
