JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

JPD Officer Colendula Green confirmed an early morning shooting that occurred on Sunday.

Officer Green said three victims were shot while playing pool at the Corner Pocket night club.

The victims were identified as Jermaine Berry, 31, who was shot in the shoulder.

Christopher Rushing, 21, was shot in the left back and right forearm and 38-year-old Jawara Smith was shot in the groin. 

The shooting occurred around 5 a.m. Sunday at 2862 Northside Drive.

Green said the victims said the shots were fired from the outside of the club and they did not see who did the shooting.

The victims' injuries were non-life threatening.
