Local authorities confiscate illegal gaming machines

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Acitizen complaint led authorities to discover multiple illegal gaming machinesat a local business.

Forrest County authoritiesconfiscated three machines from Woody's Place on Highway 42 Tuesday. Deputiesbegan their investigation after the complaint was called in but no arrests orcharges have been filed.

According to Forrest County investigators theinvestigation is ongoing and charges could be pending as progress is made inthe case.

    Lamar County Sheriff's deputies are investigating after a body was found in a freezer Tuesday. Sheriff Danny Rigel confirms two persons of interest have been taken into custody.
