Husband pours bleach on wife during dispute

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Nashville man is facing child abuse charges after police said he poured bleach on his wife in front of their kids.

Police said the suspect had been drinking and driving.

According to police reports, the wife confronted the husband about it and that led to the attack.

Police said the husband began punching and slapping his wife with their three young children in the house.

Then police said he got a bottle of bleach and poured the bleach on her skin.

At that point, one of the children ran across the street to get help form a neighbor.

The neighbor came over, got the wife and her three children and brought them across the street until police got there.
