United Way kicks off Home Sweet Home raffle

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

The United Way of Southeast Mississippi has kicked off its 12th annual Home Sweet Home raffle, and it comes with some exciting changes.

This year, the winner will be able to choose between the 315,000 dollar home in the Bellegrass subdivision or 100,000 dollars cash.

An early bird drawing prize will also be awarded. Purchases made by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 13 will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a five night stay at a luxury beach home in Watercolor, Florida.

Raffle tickets are 100 dollars and can be purchased at http://www.unitedwayms.org or by calling (601)-545-7141. Tickets are also on sale at the United Way office at 210 W. Front Street in Hattiesburg, any Corner Market and Sunflower stores and at select locations of Citizens Bank, The Citizens Bank, Community Bank, The First, Grand Bank and Regions Bank.

The winning ticket will be drawn on-site on August 25 at 6 p.m. at 78 Bellegrass Boulevard.

    The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has issued a Missing/Endangered Child Alert for four-year-old William Holley III of Clarksdale. He was last seen Saturday at approximately 11:45 a.m. near the Hampton Inn and McDonald's on Highway 49 South in Clarksdale, in Coahoma County.
