Suspect sought in Turtle Creek grand larceny

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Hattiesburg Police are searching for a suspect involved in an April 24th grand larceny at Turtle Creek Mall.

Jason Husband, who dressed as a security guard assisted Saquita Gavin in stealing merchandise from a department store. Gavin allegedly stole several handbags and purses while Husband stood in the store near her. The two exited the store without paying, and then assaulted a loss prevention officer when they attempted to stop the couple.

Gavin has been arrested and charged since, but Husband is still on the loose and has an active warrant for his arrest.

    A Hub City minister is reacting to the death of the Rev. Billy Graham, the most widely-heard Christian evangelist in history.   He died Wednesday morning at his home in Montreat, North Carolina at the age of 99.  Pastor Jeff Clark of Hattiesburg's Venture Church said Graham was a humble man of integrity who would be missed.
