AIKEN, SC (WFXG) -

All votes were counted completely in Aiken County, despite problems with a few machines on election night, according to officials.

"It's not the time thing for me," said Cynthia Holland, elections director. "The important for me is those voters go to those precincts on election day and expect those votes to count, and that's what we wanted to ensure. I could have just handed out a tape, and this is what it says, but I wanted to verify every vote counted, and it did."

Holland said the machines were working fine when they left the main office, but some experienced power issues while at the precincts.

This caused a delay in reporting results on election night.
