    Andrea Walker, the mother of the baby girl who went missing January 9, was arrested Monday morning. She is now officially charged with first-degree murder.

    Her surrender comes less than 24 hours after the body of a baby, younger than 1 year old, was found in a Millington ditch Sunday afternoon.

(WMC) - A mother accused of killing her 7-week-old baby is no longer in jail after bonding out last week, WMC Action News 5 just confirmed.

Investigators charged Andrea Walker with first-degree murder this winter after the body of her daughter Aniston was found in a ditch near Millington.

Walker sat in jail from February 17 until last week; her bond raised to $600,000 in her last court hearing. Attorney Leslie Ballin says family only had to put up bond for $350,000, since Walker bonded out of a $250,000 bond from charges in early February.

"There is no flight risk. There is no danger to anybody else in the community, and we intend to defend these charges," said Ballin on June 6, which is the date Walker bonded out.

The Shelby County Medical examiner ruled baby Aniston Walker's cause of death as homicidal violence, which means she was intentionally killed.
