The Pine Burr Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America received a new pickup truck on Tuesday, donated by Mississippi Power.

The truck is headed to Camp Tiak in Wiggins and will be used to haul equipment across South Mississippi, said Mississippi Power in a news release.

The Council's only truck was destroyed in a fire six months ago.

Mississippi Power said that they usually retire trucks after about 10 years and sometimes give those trucks a second life at a pant where they haul equipment.
