NEW YORK (CNN) – New information in the alleged attack on V. Stiviano, the woman whose audio recording of Clippers owner Donald Sterling led to his lifetime ban from the NBA.

A man believed to have attacked Stiviano outside a New York hotel surrendered to police Tuesday. Stiviano went to the NYPD's 6th precinct in Manhattan and was expected to view lineups.

Stiviano told police she was leaving a restaurant in Manhattan on Monday when two men physically attacked her and hurled racial slurs.

Her face was left red and swollen.

Stiviano's lawyer released a statement saying several witnesses have come forward and there are at least two videos of the assault.

Police have identified a second suspect and are trying to locate him.
