DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

An undercover operation in Decatur led to a drug bust at a motel on Friday.

The bust happened at the Motel 6 on 6th Avenue. Investigators said the Decatur Police Department's Organized Crime Unit bought crack cocaine from a man five separate times and once from a woman.

Friday, authorities made their move and arrested the two on felony distribution warrants.

Anthony Kent was charged with five counts of distributing a controlled substance. Sherrita Reporto was charged with one count of dealing drugs. Both were taken to Decatur City Jail and will be transferred to the Morgan County Jail, Kent on a $25,000 bond and Reporto on a $5,000 bond.

During the bust, officers said they smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from one of the motel rooms. Officers made contact with Sheron Hinton and Shaun Holley and said they found marijuana and drug sale paraphernalia in the room. Hinton and Holley were charged with possession of pot and drug paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Decatur City Jail.
