Waynesboro man convicted in 2013 crime

LAUREL, MS (WDAM) -

It took 35 minutes for a jury to return a guilty verdict on all three counts for a Waynesboro man accused of shooting and robbing a Laurel Walmart customer back in 2013.

Sean Land, 24, the  was sentenced to a total of 42 years.

He will serve 25 years for attempted armed robbery, 10 years for aggravated assault and 7 years for a felon in possession of a firearm.
