ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

A Laurel man is being sought for questioning in connection with the alleged molestation of a young child in Ellisville last week.

Ellisville Police say Andre Lamar Carter, 33, is thought to be living in the Petal area. He's wanted for questioning about the possible molestation of a five-year-old child in the city limits on Wed. May 14.

Police say Carter was apparently a friend of the victim's family. They also think he may still be in the area.
