HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) - Hundreds of students at William Carey University received degrees at three commencement exercises on the Hattiesburg campus Saturday. Undergraduates in the School of Arts and Letters, the School of Nursing and the School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences took home degrees during a ceremony at 9:30 a.m. at Smith Auditorium.
In the early afternoon, students in the fields of business, education, missions and Biblical studies and music received their undergraduate degrees.
And late Saturday afternoon, both undergraduate and graduate students from the Tradition Campus got their degrees.
Next Saturday, the university's School of Osteopathic Medicine will graduate its first class of 94 students.
A total of nearly 750 are graduating from William Carey University this spring.
