Gov. Bentley to visit Houston Co. on Road to Economic Recovery Tour

HOUSTON CO., AL (WSFA) -

Governor Robert Bentley and Lt. Governor Kay Ivey will be visiting Dothan on Monday as a part of the Road to Economic Recovery Tour.

The purpose of the tour is to visit communities across the state and discuss local economic conditions and state-level efforts to bring more jobs to Alabama. Gov. Bentley will meet with area residents and business owners to discuss these topics and other community issues.

The tour will include lunch at the Blue Plate West at 11:45 a.m., and then a tour of Dothan High School at 1:30 p.m. Monday's tour will also include a visit to Panhandle Converters at 2:30 p.m. and then will end with a business roundtable at the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce at 3:30 p.m.
