MHP, animal rescue team remove wandering horses on I-59

JONES COUNTY, MS (WDAM) -

The Mississippi Highway Patrol and animal rescue groups rounded up two horses roaming around on I-59 Friday night.  The horses were seen roaming in the southbound lane near mile marker 111 not far from the Jones-Jasper county line. They were finally spotted running up the Heidelberg/Bay Springs exit and they have been caught and are in good hands.

It's not clear at this time as to where the horses came from.
