The New Orleans Saints have the 27th pick in the first round of the 2014 NFL draft and have a total of seven selections.
The Black and Gold addressed some needs in the secondary during the offseason and according to Saints general manager Mickey Loomis, the team has to be prepared for which players will be available to them late in the first round.
"We have a pretty good idea of who the first 12 or 15 guys that are going to come off the board. We have no idea what order obviously," Loomis said in a press conference Wednesday.
"There's always a surprise or two, but we have a pretty good idea of the first half and then who knows?"
"That part is very difficult. So, we have to be prepared for any and all scenarios."
