Hub City physicians honored at Doctors' Hall of Fame

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Several Hattiesburg-area physicians have been recognized for their service to the community. They were honored at Southern Oaks and Gardens during the 5th annual Doctors' Hall of Fame ceremony.

It was hosted by the Forrest General Healthcare Foundation.

Awards were presented to physicans who help improve healthcare in the Hub City and contribute to the growth of Forrest General Hospital.

Honorees were Thomas S. Messer, Jr., M.D., William H. Peters, M.D., Stoney Williamson, M.D. and Alphonso Willis, M.D.
