Andy, Will It Work? Hurricane 360 Spin Mop

(WMC) - ANDY, WILL IT WORK? Hurricane 360 Spin Mop = WISE BUY!

Mop, dunk and spin the dirt away with this handy mop-and-bucket system!

The $40 micro-fiber mop's advertising claims it will absorb tough spills and dirt with its 360-degree action. After mopping, you dunk it in the tub's "washing" side, then spin the mop with the tub's pedal-powered "drying" side.

The centrifugal force spins the gunk right off the fibers.

"You get a clean mop head that's practically dry -- and ready for more," boasted its web commercial

We tested it with Whitehaven's Bridgette Torrance-Williams on her kitchen's ceramic tile, the industrial tile in her husband's 'man-cave' and on her dining room floor's scored concrete -- with nasty stuff like tomato juice, cherry preserves, garden soil, even human hair.

The Hurricane 360 Spin Mop's micro-fibers locked on to every flake of dirt and every drop of grime.

"I don't feel anything," Torrance-Williams exclaimed as she touched each floor after its cleaning.

No residue!

Each time, the dunk-and-spin trick of the Hurricane 360 Spin Mop system sucked the gunk right out of the fibers. The fibers were virtually lily-white, like they hadn't been used, and ready for the next job.

"Personally, I'm into a clean floor more than I am a clean mop," Torrance-Williams said. "This mop really works. I love it!"

The Hurricane 360 Spin Mop is a WISE BUY.

Even though it claims it can be used on hardwood or laminate floors, the Hurricane 360 Spin Mop should not be used wet on those surfaces. Water can cause hardwood to buckle.

The mop's micro-fiber head can also be removed for easy cleaning in the washer.
