BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say a 24-hour drug roundup netted 13 arrests in an operation that targeted the sale and distribution of heroin and crystal meth and allegations of doctor shopping.
Jeremy Skinner, commander of the Hancock County sheriff's narcotics division, tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/1qknig8 ) some arrests disrupted plans to deliver or take illegal drugs into the county jail.
The Waveland Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff's Office assisted in making the arrests. Those arrested were booked Wednesday at the Hancock County jail.
