Caught on camera: Man shot outside of school with children watching

An 11-year-old boy told 19 Action News, he heard the shots, saw the bad guys running, and saw the victim stumbling away. An 11-year-old boy told 19 Action News, he heard the shots, saw the bad guys running, and saw the victim stumbling away.

Police are trying to identify two thugs seen on camera robbing a 21-year-old man at gunpoint.

The crime happened late one afternoon in March outside of Thomas Jefferson elementary on West 46 Street in Cleveland with young students there on the playground.

An 11-year-old boy told 19 Action News, he heard the shots, saw the bad guys running, and saw the victim stumbling away.

"The robbers said, ‘Gimme your wallet.' The victim said he didn't have money. He got shot three times: in the hand, the thigh and the backside," the young witnessed recounted.

Cleveland police need your help identifying the robbers. The victim's mother is making a desperate plea for someone to come forward.

She told 19 Action News, "I say to everybody. I think that every mother out there would be concerned if something happened to her kids. Too much. Too much crime. Too much crime. Too much killing."
