CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Firefighters are investigating a Wednesday morning fire on Robertson Avenue near MLK Drive at the same address where a man was fatally shot just days ago.

The fire started around 4:15 a.m.

The house is a total loss and so is the memorial that was set up for 29-year-old Akeem Tidmore.

Tidmore was shot and killed at the home early Sunday morning.

His pictures that are attached to tree are about all that's left now.

We're being told, but police aren't confirming, that there was an after hours party here Sunday morning. Police tell us there was an argument that ended with Tidmore's death, after someone pulled a gun.

And now Tidmore's friends are not only grieving his loss but they're also forced to deal with a burned up memorial and they're wondering how the fire fits into the equation.

Tidmore's friend Jeremy Bradley is still stunned his friend is gone.

"I'm going through hell right now, through hell right now. I don't know what to do, I don't now how to deal with this," says Bradley. "I really don't know at this time.  I really don't know.  All I know is four o'clock this morning I woke up to a bunch of fire trucks out here I want to understand too."

Cleveland Fire says they are aware of Sunday's shooting and investigators will comb through the house looking for signs of arson or any connection to the murder.
