Wanted man sought after child taken from Montgomery apartment

MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Authorities are searching for a wanted man who allegedly took his child Friday morning from a Montgomery apartment.

CrimeStoppers says Marcus Brown, 20, kicked in the door of an apartment and took his child at 9 a.m. 

"Due to Brown's past history, investigators are concerned for the safety of the child," according to CrimeStoppers.

An AMBER ALERT hasn't been issued, and authorities have reportedly been in contact with the suspect.

Brown is already wanted for domestic violence harassment, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.

According to CrimeStoppers, Brown shot at the mother of the child in the area of Gas Light Curve March 14.

A season-high four tackles-for-loss against Troy, the most by a Golden Eagle since Cleveland Brown Jamie Collins recorded the same in 2012.
