The continued search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, Northwestern football players being allowed to unionize and a new report about childhood autism all made headlines this week.

(RNN) - Families of those on missing Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 protested near the Malaysian embassy in Beijing to express their anger and frustration with Malaysian authorities.

Officials have announced that all lives on board the plane are considered lost.

It has been three weeks since the plane went missing.

The National Labor Relations Board in Chicago ruled that football players at Northwestern University are employees and can unionize. The players say they are seeking better medical coverage, concussion testing, four-year scholarships and the possibility of being paid.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said the number of U.S. children with autism jumped 30 percent between 2008 and 2010. One in 68 children had an autism spectrum disorder in 2010, which is up from one in 88 children in 2008.
