NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A Nashville man is accused of robbing a man, shooting him and taking his clothes. If that wasn't bad enough, police say the victim was a childhood friend.

Geoffery League Jr. is facing a charge of especially aggravated robbery.

Investigators say League was visiting with a childhood friend on Saturday when he drove out to Sulphur Creek Road and pretended his car stalled.

When both men got out to see what was wrong, the friend claims League pulled a gun, told him to take off his clothes and hand over his cash and cell phone.

Police said the friend laughed, thinking it was a joke, and League allegedly shot him in the leg, gathered up the victim's belongings, shot him again and then drove off.

League surrendered at police headquarters on Wednesday and is being held on a $50,000 bond.
