GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

An emaciated boxer dog was found wandering the streets of Garfield Heights during Wednesday night's snow storm.

Police officers immediately brought the dog to Animal Warden Ed Jamison.

Jamison tells 19 Action News that the female dog nearly starved to death and has frostbite on her nose.

The dog, believed to be around 5-years-old, is now being nursed back to health. She already has several people who want to adopt her and give her a loving home.

Jamison is trying to figure out what happened to her, and if someone is responsible for this dog's poor condition.
