Berrien County fires Stokes as baseball coach

NASHVILLE, GA (WALB) -

Jordan Stokes has been relieved of his duties as baseball coach of Berrien County middle school as of last Tuesday.

The demotion stems from practice habits, the chief of them being closed off for viewing. According to one parent, the coach tried to hide what happened at the session's even from family members.

"The problem that us parents are facing is," said Patty Williams. "Is the way this coach has bullied these boys into telling them what happens at practice stays at practice."

Stokes remains employed as a Physical Education teacher.
