CPSC issues recall of magnets

Posted: Updated:

More than 25,000 magnets made by Design Ideas are being recalled due to a danger to children, the CPSC said.

The magnets can detach from the Rubber Ducky, Blowfish and Splat magnets, officials said.

If a child swallows them they can link together in their intestines, or cause obstructions, officials add.

The magnets were sold nationwide from March of 2007 through September of 2013.
