Arrest made in Columbus Inn shooting

COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) -

Police have arrested Justin Shaun Greene, 24, for an early morning shooting that happened Friday, March 7, at the Columbus Inn on the 3170 Victory Dr.

Police responded to room 412 of the inn at about 1:30 a.m., and found the victim, 24-year-old Maurice Hanson, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Hanson was rushed to Midtown Medical Center for treatment, was admitted and listed in critical condition.

Investigation lead to Greene's arrest. He is charged with Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime.

Greene has been booked into the Muscogee County Jail. In his preliminary hearing, Greene pled not guilty. He is being held on a $100,000 bond for aggravated assault, and a $10,000 bond for possession of a firearm.
