COLUMBIA, SC (RNN) – The Florida Gators rolled over the South Carolina Gamecocks on the road, winning 72-46 Tuesday night.

The Gators (28-2, 17-0 SEC) have extended their winning streak to a school record 22 games. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks (11-19, 4-13 SEC) have lost four of their last five games with just one game remaining on their schedule.

The victory also marks a season sweep of the Gamecocks for Florida; the Gators won on Jan. 8 in Gainesville.

South Carolina played the Gators close in the first half, and after a brief tie, only trailed by two points at halftime. But the Gators pulled away for long stretches in the second half, never allowing the Gamecocks to catch up.

Florida guard Michael Frazier II scored 37 points for the Gators, who shot just 35.5 percent from downtown and 42.4 percent from the floor. The Gators also shot 57.9 percent from the foul line.

Forward Mindaugas Kacinas was the leading scorer for the Gamecocks with 12 points, with guard Duane Notice scoring 11 points off the bench. South Carolina shot 66.7 percent from the free throw line but a dismal 25 percent from 3-point range and 32 percent from field goal range.

Next up: Florida hosts No. 25 Kentucky at noon on Saturday; South Carolina will travel to Mississippi State for a 4 p.m. ET tipoff Saturday.
