JCJC’s Business Department hosting scholarship competition

ELLISVILLE, MS (WDAM) -

ELLISVILLE—Jones County Junior College's Business Department, Leaf River Cellulose, Central Sunbelt Federal Credit Union and Coca-Cola, are inviting high school students to participate in a business competition which could lead to a JCJC scholarship. 

On Thursday, April 17, students are invited to take an objective test, covering general business, computer concepts, and current events. The JCJC Business competition will be held in the J.B. Young Center for Business and Technology, Room 118.  Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be available after the exam. Students will need to bring calculators and pencils for the test.  The deadline to register is April 11, 2014.

The student achieving the highest score on the exam will receive a full tuition scholarship for one semester.  The student receiving the next highest score will receive a one-half tuition scholarship for one semester.
