Doctor discusses heart attack risk factors for educational series

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Dr. John Lovejoy, Cardiologist with HeartCare of Southern Mississippi, will lead a discussion on the importance of cardiovascular health and recognizing personal risk factors related to heart attack at the Senior Circle Lunch and Learn program on Friday, February 21 at 11:00a.m. in the Glenn Smith Room at Wesley Medical Center.  The seminar is part of an ongoing monthly series, featuring local physicians discussing a variety of health and wellness topics.

Dr. Lovejoy earned his medical degree from the University of California School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and his residency at the University of Wisconsin Center for Health Sciences. Dr. Lovejoy has been practicing in the Hattiesburg area for more than ten years.

Senior Circle is a membership organization with numerous local and national benefits. Membership is available to those seniors age 50 or better.
