COLUMBIA, MO (RNN) - A largely back-and-forth game came down to the wire with Missouri escaping with a one-point win against Arkansas at home on Thursday.

The Tigers (17-7, 5-6 SEC) and the Razorbacks (15-9, 4-7) swapped the lead a couple of times before Mizzou started to pull away, leading 48-42 at the half. The Tigers continued to lead for the first nine minutes of the second half until Arkansas tied it 63 all. The teams went back and forth until the final seconds, when Mizzou's Jabari Brown made a jump shot to give the Tigers the win.

Mizzou had a decent night shooting, making 43.6 percent of its field goals and 89.5 percent of its free throws. Arkansas was narrowly behind in both, making 42.6 percent of its field goals and 78.4 percent of its free throws. Both teams struggled with 3-point shots, with the Razorbacks holding a slight advantage after making a quarter of their 16 shots from downtown.

Jordan Clarkson led the Tigers with 27 points, while Rashad Madden led the Razorbacks with 17 points.
