Lovely Lulu could be your valentine

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Pink is Lulu's favorite color and it's fitting since this 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur wants to be your valentine.  She was brought into the shelter as a stray mom.

Sarah Mosley with Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter says, "She had one little baby with her and it just got adopted about 2 weeks ago so she's a little lonely all by herself."

Lulu is pretty shy at first when you meet her but she definitely warms up to you once she gets to know you. As you can see she kind of made herself right at home and really comfortable just curled up in this dog bed and just loves to listen to your voice and give you lots of attention.

"Once we see here in the morning she's very tense and you get her out and she's shy at first but like I said it takes her a little bit to warm up but once she warms up she's good," said Mosley.

Lulu is lonely now that her puppy has been adopted. She needs to put on a little weight but overall she's sweet and loving.

"I definitely would want someone who has a yard because I know she likes to play get her out with some toys because wouldn't want anybody jumping on her pulling on her," said Mosley.
