AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

A tree fell on a power line Wednesday afternoon near Windsong Condos in Augusta.

The tree knocked down the power line on Windsong Circle around noon, and a few minutes later, the transformer exploded.

Watch the raw video sent in by viewer Casey Minor.

Downed trees and power outages were reported across the CSRA Wednesday due to the ice buildup. Several roads were closed due to icy conditions or downed trees and traffic lights.
