Wesley Medical Center recognizes Physician Champions

HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) -

Each quarter, Wesley Medical Center recognizes three physicians for excellence in the categories of Service, Quality and Documentation. For the most recent quarter, and Dr. Lee Drake, Dr. Andrew Lin, and Dr. Brian Hamilton were honored as Wesley Physician Champions. 

Dr. Lee Drake, OB/GYN with Women's Pavilion of South Mississippi, has been recognized as our Service Physician Champion. Dr. Drake demonstrates a commitment to providing the highest level of service to patients, fellow physicians and hospital staff. This award is based in part on employee and patient feedback.

Dr. Andrew Lin, Infectious Disease Specialist with Hattiesburg Clinic, has been recognized as our Quality Physician Champion. Quality Physician Champions are recognized for showing compliance with nationally recognized quality indicators and for exceptional results in their ongoing physician performance reviews.

Dr. Brian Hamilton, General Surgeon with Southern Surgery and Urology, has been recognized as our Documentation Physician Champion. This champion is one who demonstrates care with regard to timeliness and accuracy in their orders and notes. Documentation is an important part of ensuring a positive patient experience.

    There were two Rite Aid stores in the Pine Belt at the start of 2018; one in Petal and one in Hattiesburg. Now, only the Petal location remains open, but it will soon close its doors for good, too.
