Police investigate Lawrenceville grocery store shooting

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA (CBS46) -

Police are investigating a shooting at a Gwinnett County grocery store.

Two women were shot at Kroger on Grayson Highway in Lawrenceville.

According to a witness, the incident happened inside the store.

One woman was shot in the leg while the other woman was shot in the abdomen.

The victims were taken to Gwinnett Medical Center. The injuries are considered to be non-life-threatening.

Two people have been detained but they are not yet considered suspects.

Lawrenceville police are investigating.
